MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, PA - In a long-awaited decision, a recent consent order has brought closure to the debate surrounding the proposed Grey Hawk planned residential development (PRD) in Middlesex Township. The ruling, which was signed by Michael Yeager, grants an appeal from Grey Hawk and allows for modifications to be made to the project.

According to Steven Victor, a partner with Victor Wetzel Associates, the PRD will include plans to divert 20 cubic feet per second of runoff to an area downstream of Glade Run Lake. This decision was met with relief by the township, as it addresses concerns about potentially harmful runoff entering the lake. In addition, the order requires Grey Hawk to install environmentally friendly designs that do not disrupt bird migration patterns.
